Native American Literature: Literary Analysis

Employing various genres allows a writer to be multi-vocal—to provide a rich array of perspectives and to present varying stances on a single topic.

Native American Literature: Literary Analysis

As a method for opening pathways to learning across cultures and as a means for meeting the Indian Education for All (IFEA) mandate, learners will read a book by a Native American author or one honestly told that features Native American life and then write a literary analysis of that text in multi-genre format. The point of a multi-genre paper is to convey a unified message through processes that reflect the richness of the reading experience.
